NEW CHALLENGES FOR ERMOPOLAND July 2012
It all started in 2002 for ERMOPOLAND, when Jean-Yves PICHEREAU, CEO of ERMO, specialized in the design & manufacturing of high precision injection molds, decided to create this subsidiary. Located in Poland in the economic zone of Dzierzoniow, 60 km from Wroclaw (southwestern Poland), consists of 25 employees providing ERMOPOLAND, by 3 shifts of 8 hours, for a daily basis continuous production.
It is by implementing its working methods and means of production that ERMO found of interest,10 years ago, to set up in Poland in order to approach existing customers in this part of Europe, and to maintain a competitive advantage in the global market.
Note that the main activity of this subsidiary is from our group. This requires a well-oiled organization including management and logistics: weekly shuttles regularly carry the finished and/or semi-finished parts, from Dzierzoniow to Marcillé-La-Ville.
Roughing parts manufacturing, wearing parts for tools, or even the production of parts in accordance with drawings and assembly systems, are also part of the expertise available to ERMOPOLAND.

Today, for the 10th anniversary of its Polish subsidiary, the group ERMO has set new objectives: to advance and evolve in order to achieve short-term assemblies subsets. The second purpose of this subsidiary is to develop the external activity regarding high precision parts in accordance with drawings.
Moreover, in order to harmonize its communication and ERMO group identity, a name change has just been operated: ERMOSOGA is now called ERMOPOLAND. The new name, a true universal vehicle of the company, is part of the same logic than the name "ERMO NORTH AMERICA" already given to the ERMO group sales office in Montreal, QC Canada in 2005.
